In our Oral Language Speaking programme we have to write clues for our mystery object, and then ask these to the class to see if they can guess what it is! Tyde was very well prepared with his mystery object yesterday. Today Nicholas, Sophie, Neili and Max all shared their clues with us. What a range of mystery objects we had!

Today we did buddy writing in writing time. We used Pobble365 as our motivation, and together wrote a descriptive story with amazing adjectives! Our next step is to get feedback from our buddies on our pieces of collaborative writing.

Buddy Writing
Monday 14 August
Today we read our Monster descriptions to our buddy class, Room 4. They had to draw our monster, following our descriptions! We were impressed with how accurate the drawings were, which meant we had written such clear, detailed descriptions. Our buddies then gave us some feedback on our piece of descriptive writing, by sharing two 'stars'- things we had done well, and a 'wish'-something to improve for next time. Thanks for the great feedback Room 4!

We designed our own monsters and then wrote sentences to describe. We typed up our writing and are all very proud of our work.

Digital Citizenship Day
Friday the 23 June was Digital Citizenship day. In Room 14 we:
Talked about the rules we follow in our community and compared these to rules we follow on devices.Learnt how to hold and carry devices safely.
Learnt how to plug in and unplug the devices properly.
Practised typing with two hands on BBC dance mat.
Published work on a device.
Learnt how to take a great photo and tried to video each other.
